BPC – Metenox Moon Drill

ISK 350.000.000,00 ISK

The Upwell Consortium, renowned for its successful Athanor and Tatara class refineries, recognized the mounting challenges faced by its customers with moon-mining operations. In response, they unveiled the Metenox moon drill, a hands-off deployable employing traditional surface-grazing techniques.

While these autonomous facilities extract materials less efficiently than refineries, they offer scalability by mining multiple moons with individual Metenox at once. Their vulnerability to raiding due to lighter plating, a short reinforcement period, and high-power requirements necessitating colony reagents has caused concerns among capsuleers, but the Consortium insists their autonomous functionality is a worthy trade-off.

Please note: The Metenox moon drill must be positioned within 250km of an eligible moon mining site and exclusively in systems rated 0.4 security or lower.
